To make cushion cover
1
A 1cm seam allowance has been included on all measurements. From the natural linen cut out one piece measuring 47 x 47cm for the front and two pieces each measuring 24,5 x 47cm for the back.

2 Tack the zip in place down the 47cm length of each back piece, making sure the zip is centred. Using a zipper foot sew the zip in place, working the stitching as close to the teeth as possible. Close the seams at each end of the zip tape and open the zip fastener.

3 Place the back piece to the front with the right sides facing. If necessary trim the seam allowance on the back piece so it measures the same as the front piece. Machine stitch around the outer edges. Clip the seam at the corners diagonally and turn to the right side through the open zip. This completes the cover

To complete cushion cover
Cover the front of the cushion cover with the floral and circular motifs until you are happy with the design. Hand-stitch the motifs neatly in place on the linen. The flower motifs can overlap the circular motifs, as shown in the photograph. Insert a cushion inner into the cushion cover and close the zip fastener.
