Make these handy cinnamon creations the next time you entertain friends and family.
Coaster
Choose five or six cinnamon quills that are more or less the same length. Use kitchen string and weave it over and under all the quills on one side, then repeat a second time. Tie the string securely. Repeat on the other side.
Place name holder
Use a glue gun to stick two cinnamon quills together. Push a place name in the groove between the cinnamon quills.
Decoration
Decorate a gift box with a pretty silhouette that smells of cinnamon. Buy scrapbooking silhouettes or cut a silhouette from cardboard. Smear craft glue on the front of the silhouette and sprinkle over ground cinnamon. Shake off the excess cinnamon and tie to the giftbox with a piece of ribbon.
Candle holder
Decorate a candle holder with cinnamon quills. Use a craft saw to cut all the cinnamon quills to the same length as the holder. Stick the quills to the glass holder using a glue gun.
